Commercial Asbestos Removal

Commercial Asbestos Removal

We work with businesses, property managers, builders and developers to plan and carry out asbestos removal from commercial and industrial properties.

Asbestos in Commercial Properties

Commercial and industrial buildings constructed before the mid-1980s frequently contain asbestos in roofing, wall sheeting, ceiling tiles, pipe lagging and other building materials. The presence of asbestos does not necessarily require immediate action, but it does require proper management.

When renovation, demolition, or maintenance work is planned, any asbestos-containing materials in the affected area must be identified and managed appropriately before work begins. This is a legal requirement under the Work Health and Safety Regulation in NSW.

We work with property managers, builders, developers and business owners to plan and carry out removal with minimal disruption to operations. Every commercial job is approached with clear communication, appropriate documentation and safe work practices.

Planning and Documentation

Commercial asbestos removal requires more planning than a typical residential job. Before work begins, the scope needs to be clearly defined, the materials identified, and the work sequenced to minimise disruption to the building and its occupants.

We can work with your project timeline and coordinate with other trades where required. We will provide documentation of the work carried out, which may be required for your records or for the building's asbestos register.

If you are unsure whether an asbestos register exists for your property, or whether the materials present have been identified and assessed, we can help you work through that before any removal work is planned.

Safety and Work Practices

All asbestos removal work is carried out using appropriate containment, PPE and work practices to protect our team, your staff and the surrounding area. The work area is isolated before removal begins and cleaned before containment is removed.

Asbestos waste is double-bagged, labelled and transported to a licensed disposal facility. We do not leave asbestos waste on site.
